We’re now entering the true operational side of the business and beginning to interview seamstresses. This brings us back to the days of our youth, remembering what it was like to interview for our first jobs. What to do and definitely what not to do.
What to do? Show up on time. Bring samples. Express interest.
What not to do? Indicate that “you’ll try to make the interview.” Or not show up at all. Or show up at the wrong location, regardless of the correct location having been confirmed.
Yep – we got a good spectrum of candidates – some we wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot-pole and others who we would love to work with. Thankfully, luck was on our side and we’ve got a seamstress we’re super excited to work with and more importantly, who totally jives with our (lack of) corporate culture. Can’t wait to see what she can do!
